Mount Enterprise may be a little town, South of Henderson, Texas, but it still has many great restaurants to sit down and enjoy with family and friends. With Mexican to BBQ to Italian, you won’t be hungry in Mount Enterprise. Here are a few of the best restaurants in town:

Jaimes Rancho is the locals’ favorite place to go for Mexican food. Try the Combo Burrito with beans, cheese, lettuce, and your choice of beef, pork, or chicken. Two other good burritos to try are the Red Chili Colorado Burrito (chunks of pork in a red chile sauce with beans and cheese) or the Green Chili Verde Burrito (chunks of pork in a green chile sauce with beans and cheese). Or try the Vegetarian Burrito with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and guacamole. If you’re feeling more like a taco try the Hard Shell Dorados Taco, with lettuce, cheese, and your choice of beef or chicken. The Soft Shell Taco is another good option with onion, cilantro, and hot sauce with your choice of beef (barbacoa), pork (carnitas), or chicken (pollo). Some of the best dishes at Jaimes Rancho include the Tostada (served with beans, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and guacamole) or crank it up to a Tostada Supreme (beans, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream, and your choice of beef, pork, or chicken). The Cheese Quesadilla served with guacamole and sour cream is a good option. Though the Quesadilla Supreme with cheese, guac, sour cream, and your choice of meat is even better. Sides for all of these dishes include rice, beans, guacamole, chip, and chile relleno. Or for a smaller extra cost, try a side enchilada with beef, chicken, or shrimp, one soft or crispy taco, one beef or chicken fajita, one chalupa, one tostada, etc. On the kids’ menu is one Beef or Cheese Enchilada, one Beef Taco, or two Chicken Strips with French Fries. Finish off with dessert: sopapillas or fried ice cream!

Holly Jean’s Pizza Pro is another favorite among Mount Enterprise residents. Here you can create your own pizza. Quality dough, tomato sauce, cheese and your choice of toppings. The toppings include pepperoni, hamburger, jalapenos, Italian sausage, pork sausage, Canadian bacon, cheese, onions, black olives, mushrooms, BBQ, bell peppers, chicken fajita, and pineapple too. You can make all sorts of yummy pizzas with these options.Though if you just are not feeling pizza that day, no worries. Holly Jean’s has Ham or Turkey and Cheese Subs for more picky eaters. Other subs include Chicken Fajitas, Chicken Parmesan, Philly Cheese Steak, Italian, or you can even build your own sub. You can choose a Baked Potato with “All the Fixins’”  or the BBQ Baked Potato. Finish your meal off with some Cinnamon Sticks, or a few cookies!
